ARRIRAW CONVERTER FOR MAC PRO
Users who record to the 64GB SxS Pro cards end up with just 60fps and a 32 GB SxS card will receive no appreciable benefit at all as they are limited to 30p. In order to get high frame rates up to 96fps, users have to record to XR Capture drives or the 120 GB CFast 2 cards, which falls a tad short at 90fps. The high frame rate update is greatly dependent on what recording medium that is used to capture and record the image. In addition, ARRI also updated their ARRIRaw Converter for ultra high definition support in open-gate sensor mode.ĪRC 3.0 includes ability to uprez to 4K or UHD-1, while ALEXA SUP 9.1 increases DNxHD 444 recording capabilities and improves user experience.
The update will pertain to the ALEXA XT and Alexa Classic cameras that support the XR Module. ARRI has announced an update to the Alexa Software Update Packet which will add DNxHD support for high frame rates up to 96 fps.
